Class questions
When should I arrive at class?

Please arrive 10 minutes early to your class. For safety reasons, we do not permit clients to enter class if you arrive after the warmup

If there is a waitlist, we release spots to the clients at the start of class.

What should I bring?

For the safety and hygiene of our clients and staff, we recommend grip socks be worn at all times for Barre, where possible for Yoga and Pilates. Supportive trainers for strength and conditioning CircHIIT classes in the studio

Bring water and a small towel

You can also purchase socks and water in the studio

What classes are suitable for me?

All classes are designed for any body and any fitness level. Modifications available and guided by our professional instructors for all levels. We can push the seasoned Balanced Life regular to feel the burn and increase the heart rate or, support those getting back in to fitness, new to Balanced Life, injury rehabilitation and pre and postnatal clients looking for a low impact, low heart rate workouts and finding their balance

We have slow burn barre and pilates that focus on technique, muscle growth, sculpt, posture and balance. 

Strength and sculpt is for those who are wishing to focus on increasing musculoskeletal strength. Perfect for those who wish to increase muscle mass and decrease the rate of muscle and skeletal degeneration as we age 

Our breath work, stretch and meditation classes are designed for those who practice meditation, breathwork and flow regularly and, cater to those who are just starting to explore the benefits breath, flow, stretch and meditation has on the mind and body 

Pre and postnatal modifications available for all classes that aren’t specific to balancing babies and life with the juggle struggle – speak to your instructor about your pregnancy development stage and, your postnatal exercise clearance from your physio and postpartum healing stage and we will modify for you  

Balanced baby and mum life classes are designed specifically for mum and bub to attend together. Whether you want your baby on board in the class with you or have access to our crèche. We’ve got you Mumma bear  

Injury rehab - you may attend a group class while injured if you have received permission from your doctor or health care practitioner. Please be mindful that our group classes are not specifically designed for injury rehabilitation unless they are slow burn classes. However, with medical clearance you can attend any class. Be  ensured that it is your responsibility to let your teacher know of any injuries you may have or be recovering from before class, discuss your physio/rehab exercises with your instructor to receive best suited individual modifications. If there is any concern, discomfort or uncertainty it is recommended not to participate in a group class setting without prior discussions unless the class is a slow burn barre, pilaties class or meditation / breathwork class.
